Nathan C. Williams

Nathan C. Williams is native West Tennessean through and through. Raised on a small farm alongside his brothers, sisters, and cousins in Gibson County, Tennessee, Mr. Williams learned the value of hard work, sacrifice, honesty, and compassion. These are traits that he carries into his practice each and every day. He graduated from Milan High School in 1996. To this day, you will still find him in the bleachers cheering on his Bulldog football team every Friday night in the fall. Mr. Williams graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2000 with a degree in Criminal Justice.

After completion of his undergraduate degree, Mr. Williams worked for a number of years for Community Corrections programs in Obion and Davidson Counties supervising felony offenders on community based release. It was in his role as a probation officer that he learned there is a fine balance between enforcing the standards of a rigorous probation program to promote public safety and welfare and utilizing compassion and providing probationers with the tools to succeed in life to avoid recidivism. During this time, Mr. Williams developed a passion for the courts and the law. Mr. Williams later applied to law school and graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 2008. He completed his law school studies while working full time as a legal assistant at a boutique family law firm and raising a family. He was admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Tennessee in 2009.

Mr. Williams is actively involved in parent involvement groups to improve access and promote understanding between parents, educational administrators, and staff to the Milan public school system. He is a father to two daughters and married to Shannon Stacie Williams, a Gibson County, Tennessee native. Mr. Williams is an avid runner and participates in a men’s recreational basketball league. Mr. Williams feels that working as an attorney at NST has provided him an opportunity to serve his community as an advocate, empowering and reassuring clients in their weakest and most vulnerable times as well as doggedly pursuing justice on their behalf.

Since 2008, Mr. Williams has been employed as an Associate Attorney with the law office of Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, with his practice primarily focused in the areas of automobile and trucking accidents, workers’ compensation, wrongful death, and personal injury. It is important when you are involved in an automobile accident, workplace injury, or personal injury that you immediately contact an attorney. Failure to do so may result in your claim being barred due to rules imposing strict time limitations, the loss of evidence, and the unavailability of witnesses who may testify favorably on your behalf. Recent laws have been passed in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation that have provided additional barriers for injured claimants as well as reduced availability to the courts. It is critical that that an injured person or their loved ones contact an attorney to see that their legal rights are properly protected and interests are vigorously advocated.

If you need a compassionate Tennessee lawyer, Mr. Williams is ready to review your case and advise you as to the proper steps that you need to take to protect your legal rights and advance your case. Mr. Williams is a member of the Madison and Gibson County Bar Associations and the Howell Edmunds Jackson American Inn of Court fraternal organization. He is an active participant in legal education clinics to further his knowledge of his craft to better serve his clients.
