Trenton Winford joined Nahon, Saharovich, & Trotz in 2025 after five years as an insurance defense attorney. He is admitted to practice law in Mississippi.
Mr. Winford was raised in Madison, MS, and he attended Jackson Academy where he graduated in 2010. He then attended college at the University of Mississippi where he graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Leadership as a member of the Trent Lott Leadership Institute. While in college at Ole Miss, he was also a member of Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity, serving a term as Vice President. After college Mr. Winford returned to the Jackson area where he worked for three years in energy efficiency and energy policy.
Mr. Winford then decided to return to law school at the University of Mississippi where he graduated in 2020 with concentrations in Business Law and Sports & Entertainment Law. While in law school Mr. Winford received the Outstanding Student Award in Contract Negotiation and Drafting. Mr. Winford was also a member of the Mississippi Sports Law Review and was president of the Christian Legal Society. Mr. Winford spent his second summer of law school as an intern for former Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Dawn Beam.
After law school, Mr. Winford returned to the Jackson area to work for an insurance defense firm where he represented the insurance companies and their customers who were involved in lawsuits. During that time Mr. Winford learned the tricks and tools of the trade that are employed by insurance companies. Mr. Winford brings that experience and knowledge over to Nahon, Saharovich, & Trotz where he can help individual clients who have suffered injury and need legal assistance.
Outside of the law practice Mr. Winford is a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church where he is active in the high school ministry and the sports ministry. Mr. Winford also enjoys spending time with his family, including his eight nieces and nephews, as well as cheering on Ole Miss.
