Every personal injury case has a time limit which a claim must either be settled or a suit properly filed. Or, you as the injured victim can lose your right to sue. The legal term for this limit is called the statute of limitations. In Arkansas, if you’re injured in a car or truck wreck, you only have three years to resolve your case or a lawsuit must be properly filed to protect your claim.
