Super Lawyers 5 Years Badge for Kevin N. GrahamSuper Lawyers badge for Kevin N. GrahamKevin Graham has dedicated nearly his entire legal career to representing injured persons in a variety of areas, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, tractor-trailer wrecks, car wrecks, Social Security Disability, premises liability, and workers’ compensation. He has nearly 17 years of experience and is known for hard work and preparation so that his clients can achieve the best recovery possible, whether through settlement or trial. Mr. Graham also follows a policy that all client communications and requests for updates be addressed promptly. Because of his legal skills and high level of client satisfaction, Mr. Graham has been selected as a Super Lawyer in the area of personal injury by Law & Politics magazine in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Mr. Graham was born in Houston and also lived in Raleigh, North Carolina before moving at a young age to Gatlinburg and the beautiful Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. As both his parents were alumni of the University of Tennessee, he began regularly attending games at the age of 12 and has been a devoted supporter to the university ever since. Of course, growing up in a mountain resort area, Mr. Graham also enjoyed hiking and the other outdoor and recreational activities that Gatlinburg afforded.

While attending law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Mr. Graham clerked for a Knoxville personal injury law firm that handled complex personal injury cases, and he then realized that his legal calling was to be a voice for individuals that are facing a challenging time in their life after being injured by another’s negligence. In his first 10 years of practice, he exclusively handled personal injury cases, specifically automobile and trucking accident cases. Thereafter, Mr. Graham was an attorney for a large insurance defense firm, where he gained valuable and unique insight as to how the insurance carriers evaluated and handled claims, usually at the detriment of the injured person.

In September 2010, Mr. Graham proudly returned to the side of representing the injured and joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, where he now primarily handles cases where litigation is needed for a variety of reasons. Although every client wants their cases resolved in the quickest and fairest way possible, sometimes suit must be filed, depositions must be taken, and experts need to be retained because of disputes over fault or because the offer from the insurance company is not fair for the injured client. In 2011, Mr. Graham became additionally licensed to practice law in Arkansas so he can represent an even larger number of injured persons in the Mid-South.

In one such example, Mr. Graham represented an injured person who was rear-ended by another driver. His client then treated for back pain and ultimately underwent surgery to repair disc herniations at multiple levels in his lumbar spine. Mr. Graham took the deposition of his client’s treating orthopedic surgeon, who testified that the client’s back injuries were more likely than not caused by the wreck and that the client’s resulting treatment and medical charges were reasonable and necessary. Nevertheless, the total offer from all insurance sources prior to trial was $43,000.00 so Mr. Graham, with the help of fellow Team NST attorney Adam Johnson, tried the case to a jury and received a verdict of $198,856.80. This verdict was published in the Mississippi Jury Verdict Reporter as a notable out-of-state verdict.

Mr. Graham is a supporter of numerous charitable causes, including Memphis Area Legal Services, which provides legal representations to individuals who do not have the economic means to retain a private attorney. Mr. Graham also enjoys various food cooking competitions and is a member of the firm’s chili cooking team that competes annually to benefit the Exceptional Foundation of West Tennessee. Mr. Graham also enjoys reading non-fiction books and watching documentaries and historical films.
