Here at NST Law, one of our favorite events in the Memphis area is the annual Chili Cook Off benefiting the Exceptional Foundation of West Tennessee. This year, our firm again sponsored a team at this fun community event. In addition to helping raise money for the Exceptional Foundation, our team, led by attorney Derek Fairchilds, was proud to take home 2nd place among all teams participating. Our staff and attorneys enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together, cook delicious chili, and help promote the Exceptional Foundation’s mission.
The mission of the Exceptional Foundation of West Tennessee is to “enrich the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by meeting the social, recreational and continued educational needs.” This organization has been helping children and young adults in the Memphis area since 2006, many of whom have autism, Down Syndrome, and other special needs. We are already looking forward to the 2019 event!
