Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz is proud of our attorneys Monica Rejaei and Adam Johnson for volunteering with Legal Lines, a program designed to help members of the Memphis community.
Each year, the Young Lawyers Division of the Memphis Bar Association sponsors Legal Lines, a multi-hour program where members of the community can call into a special phone line to discuss legal issues they may be facing. Answering the phones are local attorneys volunteering their time. Common issues people call about involve fair housing, criminal expungements, breach of contract, probate law, and other legal matters.
Legal Lines is a rewarding program because it helps give access to justice to those who may not be able to afford to consult with a lawyer in Memphis. If the attorney on call cannot give an exact answer to the question or legal issue, he or she can provide a referral to a local agency that may be able to assist, such as Memphis Area Legal Services.
