Kaitlyn J. Jamison is a native of Oxford, Mississippi. She attended the University of Mississippi and earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2017. While completing her undergraduate degree, she served as the recording secretary for her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and as the Vice President of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society. Following her undergraduate studies, Kaitlyn returned to the University of Mississippi School of Law and was awarded her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2021.
While in law school, working as a judicial intern in both the Third Circuit Judicial District Court and the First Chancery District Court, she gained a broad scope of experience across many areas of the law. During her final year of law school, she was sworn into limited practice at the Lafayette County Public Defender Office, where she worked as a student attorney. Kaitlyn was also involved in several student organizations, including the Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, the National Black Law Student Association, and the University of Mississippi School of Law Senate, where she served as an advisor, assisting in implementing and improving protocol and standards of conduct.
Following graduation from law school, Kaitlyn joined Nahon, Saharovich, and Trotz, where she focuses primarily in the area of personal injury law, and more specifically, automobile and truck accidents, as well as premises liability cases.
When she is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, skating, traveling, fine dining, and binge watching her favorite shows.
