Kaitlyn J. Jamison is a native of Oxford, Mississippi. She attended the University of Mississippi and earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2017. While completing her undergraduate degree, she served as the recording secretary for her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and as the Vice President of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society. While in law school, working as a judicial intern in both the Third Circuit Judicial District Court and the First Chancery District Court, she gained a broad scope of experience across many areas of the law. During her final year of law school, she was sworn into limited practice at the Lafayette County Public Defender Office, where she worked as a student attorney.
