This summer, NST Injury Attorneys was proud to participate in the Memphis Bar Association’s Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP) by hosting a high school student intern and providing a firsthand look at the legal profession.
At NST Injury Attorneys, we believe that building a stronger legal community starts with investing in the next generation. Throughout the internship, our team introduced our intern to the day-to-day practice of personal injury law, shared what it means to advocate for injured clients, and provided opportunities to learn directly from our attorneys and staff. We were honored to help foster an interest in the legal field while giving our intern meaningful, real-world experience.
The Memphis Bar Association’s Summer Law Internship Program has been connecting high school students with legal employers since 2007, helping students gain valuable workplace experience while encouraging careers in law. The program is designed to expand access to the legal profession by providing mentorship, hands-on learning, and exposure to the many career paths available within the legal community.
“One of the most rewarding parts of being an attorney is having the opportunity to mentor and encourage the next generation,” said Parker Trotz, Partner at NST Injury Attorneys. “It was great to watch our intern learn more about the legal profession, ask thoughtful questions, and experience what it’s like to serve clients. We hope this internship gave them a strong foundation and inspired them to continue pursuing a career in law.”
