Well, Mississippi is a pure comparative fault state, meaning that you can share in responsibility and still recover. As a matter of fact, you can be as high as 99% at fault and still make a recovery in Mississippi. Whereas, in a lot of states, they have modified comparative fall, which is where if you’re 50% or higher at fault, then you can’t recover.
