Accidents involving commercial vehicles and buses often require police investigation in order to get to the bottom of what happened. Police will want to speak with the parties involved as well as any witnesses. Many times, the officers will take photographs, measurements, and diagram the accident scene. If significant injuries are involved, a special unit known as the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) will conduct a special investigation. This Tennessee agency will conduct a thorough investigation in addition to a comprehensive report.
