R. Benjamin Weathers is the leading advocate and chair of NST’s Social Security Disability Advocacy Practice Group. He was born and raised in Liberty, Mississippi. Benjamin completed his undergraduate studies at William Carey University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Marketing and Management. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and graduated cum laude. In law school, Benjamin received the Mississippi Bar Trusts and Estates Section Scholarship and served as the site coordinator for the VITA tax preparation site.
Mr. Weathers is licensed to practice law in Utah and Mississippi. Prior to joining Nahon, Saharovich, and Trotz, he owned his own practice in Liberty Mississippi for a number of years focusing on Social Security Disability and serving as Municipal Judge for the town of Liberty. He then worked with a large mountain west personal injury firm, where he led their award winning Disability Advocacy Group. In July of 2022 Ben moved with his family to Hernando, MS to work out of NST’s Memphis Office.
