In 1999, Mr. Schwippert relocated to the Jackson, Mississippi area and enrolled in law school. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2002. After graduation, Mr. Schwippert remained in Mississippi, and he was hired as an Associate Attorney for a large defense firm in Ridgeland, Mississippi. His main focus of practice was nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, and other medical related cases.
While practicing as an Associate Attorney, Mr. Schwippert was responsible for the review of allegations of negligence, years of medical records and working with his clients to answer difficult and lengthy discovery questions. He would help to prepare designated experts for testimony and was also part of the team of several nursing home trials throughout Mississippi. At the request of his clients, Mr. Schwippert would also monitor and provide analysis of nursing home trials throughout Mississippi.
In 2005, Mr. Schwippert was a featured presenter on the topic of negligent nursing home documentation for Information & Quality Healthcare (IQH), an independent, nonprofit corporation located in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Since joining Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz in 2008, Mr. Schwippert has focused his practice to the area of personal injury litigation including automobile accidents, workers’ compensation, and nursing home litigation. Working at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz has provided Mr. Schwippert with the resources to fight on behalf of his injured clients against these insurance companies. By being their voice, Mr. Schwippert is pleased to be able to allow his clients to focus on their physical recovery while he fights for their legal rights.
