Personal Injury Lawyers Dedicated to Giving Back to the Community

At Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, whenever we handle a personal injury case, our goal is to help our client(s) in need. Each and every day, we help those injured through no fault of their own. Helping people in need is not just what we strive to do during our business hours. Instead, our law firm seeks to engage in the local communities in which we practice and make a difference. THAT’S THE NST WAY!

In particular, we are dedicated to giving back to minority and low-income communities, such as Memphis Union Mission, HER Faith Ministries, St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen, and Area Relief Ministries to help ensure all individuals receive basic necessities like shelter, food, and clothing. We volunteer and donate to Memphis Area Legal Services, a local nonprofit which provides free legal services to people unable to afford attorneys in fields of law such as equal housing, landlord/tenant, and family law. We also have a soft spot for charities involving children such as Kindred Place (formerly the Exchange Club of Memphis), which works to eradicate the cycle of child abuse.

NST Law also proudly supports Facing History and Ourselves, whose mission is to promote diversity and use lessons from history to empower teachers and students to stand up to bigotry and hate, such as racism, antisemitism, and other forms of prejudice. In recent years, NST senior partner Alex Saharovich has served on the Facing History board, and NST senior partner Corey B. Trotz and his wife, Mary, served as co-chairs of one of their annual fundraising galas. We have also supported the National Civil Rights Museum, Public Justice Foundation, Bridges USA, and the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association, which promotes diversity within the legal profession in Shelby County, Tennessee.

Further, we believe in the value of education. Each year, NST Law awards a scholarship to a 3rd year law student at the University of Memphis School of Law who has excelled academically and demonstrates an interest in helping those who have suffered harm due to someone else’s fault. We have also awarded scholarships to members of the Black Law Students Association at several law schools, and college scholarships to high school students who are inspired to make a difference in their communities.

Our firm seeks to contribute to charities and organizations with strong missions of helping those in need. We support organizations that help others such as the Memphis/Shelby County Firefighters Association, American Cancer Society, Thrive Memphis, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Junior League of Memphis, Soulsville Foundation, Ronald McDonald House (where St. Jude patients reside), Marine Corp League, and Memphis Youth Symphony Program. These are just some of the many charities and organizations our firm supports.

Whether it’s sponsoring a 5k race, serving meals to those unable to afford food, sponsoring a scholarship to help a young student pay for college or graduate school, participating in charity events and fundraisers, or volunteering with charitable organizations, our lawyers look for ways to stay connected and make our communities a better place for all.
