At Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, whenever we handle a personal injury case, our goal is to help our client(s) in need. Each and every day, we help those injured through no fault of their own. Helping people in need is not just what we strive to do during our business hours. Instead, our law firm seeks to engage in the local communities in which we practice and make a difference. Whether it’s sponsoring a 5k race, serving meals to those in need, sponsoring a scholarship to help a young student pay for college or graduate school, participating in charity events and fundraisers, or volunteering with charitable organizations, our lawyers look for ways to stay connected and make our communities a better place for all.

Memphis Lawyers of NST Serve Meal at Ronald McDonald House
At Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, giving back to the community is always important. We take pride in helping others, and for the second year in a row, our Memphis lawyers enjoyed serving dinner to the residents of Ronald McDonald House of Memphis.
Ronald McDonald House plays an important role in the lives of so many people not only in Memphis, but across the world. Ronald McDonald House is a residential housing unit for patients of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and their families. It opened its doors in 1991 and has since provided no-cost housing to over 9,600 children from almost all 50 states and 45 countries. By providing free housing, Ronald McDonald House hopes patients and their loved ones can focus all of their time and energy on fighting illness and make the best recovery possible.
It was our pleasure being able to do our part to help the patients and their families as they take on cancer and other medical issues they may be facing. We thank the staff and administration of Ronald McDonald House for letting our attorneys use their kitchen for one night and serve dinner.
NST Attorneys Volunteer at Legal Lines for Memphis Bar Association
Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz is proud of our attorneys Monica Rejaei and Adam Johnson for volunteering with Legal Lines, a program designed to help members of the Memphis community.
Each year, the Young Lawyers Division of the Memphis Bar Association sponsors Legal Lines, a multi-hour program where members of the community can call into a special phone line to discuss legal issues they may be facing. Answering the phones are local attorneys volunteering their time. Common issues people call about involve fair housing, criminal expungements, breach of contract, probate law, and other legal matters.
Legal Lines is a rewarding program because it helps give access to justice to those who may not be able to afford to consult with a lawyer in Memphis. If the attorney on call cannot give an exact answer to the question or legal issue, he or she can provide a referral to a local agency that may be able to assist, such as Memphis Area Legal Services.
NST Law Participates in 6th Annual Chili Cook-Off
This November, attorneys and staff members from Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz's Memphis and Jackson offices had an excellent time participating in the 6th Annual Chili Cook-Off benefiting the Exceptional Foundation of West Tennessee (EFWTN). The EFWTN is a nonprofit organization, and its mission is to "enrich the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by meeting their social, recreational and continued educational needs."
At this year's Chili Cook-Off event, our firm prepared Texas Chili to be submitted to the judges. In total, there were more more than 15 teams that participated. In addition to serving chili to attendees, our booth featured arts and crafts and face painting for all of the kids in attendance.
The Chili Cook-Off is a large fundraiser for the EFWTN, and proceeds go towards funding programs for participants throughout the year. As always, we had an excellent time, and it was rewarding to be able to benefit such a great cause. Our team is already looking forward to next year!
NST Sponsors Toys for Tots Trot 5k in Jackson, TN
On September 23, 2017, Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz had the privilege of providing a lead sponsorship in the 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Trot 5K in Jackson, Tennessee. This run was hosted by the Captain Jack Holland Detachment #735 of the Marine Corps League. 100% of the proceeds from the run will provide toys to children through the Toys for Tots program.
The mission of the Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the communities in which the campaigns are conducted. It was our pleasure to work with the Marine Corps League in this very worthwhile endeavor, and members of our Jackson office, including attorney Nathan Williams, had an outstanding time participating in this year's event. We are already looking forward to next year!
Attorneys from NST Law Volunteer at WREG's Legal Lines
Each year, WREG News Channel 3 and the Memphis Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division team up to sponsor Legal Lines. This is a live legal help call-in show where members of the community can call the hotline, speak with local attorneys, and ask legal questions of their choice, free of charge. For this year's event held on April 20, 2017, attorneys from Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz's Memphis office, Parker Trotz and Deniger Cobb, volunteered and took calls. Overall the night was a success, and we are already looking forward to next year.

On Thursday, April 6, 2017, Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz sponsored and served dinner at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis for patients of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and their families. 15 attorneys from our Memphis office served Chinese food from Mulan Asian Bistro to approximately 100 people throughout the night.
