Jason J. Yasinsky

Jason J. Yasinsky joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz in 2010, focusing on litigation in the areas of personal injury, trucking accidents, automobile accidents, and workers’ compensation. Mr. Yasinsky is a 2010 honors graduate of the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he served as Notes Editor of the University of Memphis Law Review. While at the University of Memphis, Mr. Yasinsky had the honor of serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jennie D. Latta of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Mr. Yasinsky also was a member and oral advocate on the University of Memphis School of Law’s Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court team, reaching the competition finals in 2010 in New York City.

Mr. Yasinsky received his undergraduate degree with honors from Loyola University New Orleans in 1999. He taught elementary school music in Metairie, Louisiana, for two years after graduation before moving back to Memphis in 2001.

Prior to joining Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, Mr. Yasinsky served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert L. Childers of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Tennessee. As Judicial Law Clerk, Mr. Yasinsky was able to work on many types of cases, but he gravitated toward the cases involving personal injury litigation. During this time he was able to watch the varied styles of many of Memphis’ great lawyers and has used that experience to shape his litigation practice today.

In 2015, Mr. Yasinsky, along with fellow NST attorney David Siegel, was recognized for having one of the largest Automobile Negligence Jury Verdicts of the year in the State of Tennessee. This was a case involving a pedestrian who was seriously injured when he was struck by an automobile while walking along the road. This verdict ranked fourth in the state and earned Mr. Yasinsky a spot on the “Gold List” for 2015.

Mr. Yasinsky has been selected as an Associate Member of the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court, an organization dedicated to promoting the highest levels of professionalism in the practice of law, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South.

In addition to his career as a personal injury attorney, Mr. Yasinsky is a professional musician. He is an active trombonist in Memphis and the Mid-South, and he performs with many different musical groups as well as recording artists. Mr. Yasinsky is a member of the Mighty Souls Brass Band, the New Memphis Hepcats, and has been a member of the Memphis Jazz Orchestra since he was 16 years old. He has also performed with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic, The Temptations, Justin Timberlake, Sam Moore, Steve Cropper, Clark Terry, and many other musicians.

Mr. Yasinsky is thankful for all of his life experiences, and he is able to take from each experience those skills which help him to be a skilled litigation attorney. Every personal injury client is unique, and each case requires a dedicated and creative approach. It is Mr. Yasinsky’s goal to be a compassionate and vocal advocate for those who have been injured.
